Telekom Baskets DEFENSE
An arena magazine with a systematic approach
We redesigned DEFENSE, the arena magazine for Telekom Baskets. The magazine regularly features matchday news, team updates and behind-the-scenes stories from the DOME in Bonn. Rather than building each issue from scratch, we equipped the press team with a completely new template in Adobe InDesign: reusable layouts, a consistent page structure, ready-made text modules, individually designed sections and pages, and fixed advertising slots. This keeps the look consistent across all issues and makes producing a new issue a routine task rather than a major undertaking.
From scratch to template in two weeks
We completed the entire project in just two weeks: reviewing existing issues, developing the design concept, building the master document and handing it over to the team. The press team has since been working independently with the template, advertising spaces are clearly defined, and the team is pleased with the result.
