    Accessibility Statement

    Maluure is voluntarily committed to making digital services accessible to everyone. This statement provides transparent information about the current accessibility of maluure.com.

    This is a convenience translation. The German version is the legally binding one: /barrierefreiheit

    Scope

    This statement applies to the website maluure.com and its associated subdomains, operated by Maluure GmbH.

    Legal status

    Maluure GmbH is a microenterprise within the meaning of Empfehlung 2003/361/EG (EU Recommendation on the definition of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises). The services we provide fall under the microenterprise exemption under the BFSG (German Accessibility Strengthening Act).

    Nevertheless, we use WCAG 2.1 AA and EN 301 549 as our target framework. This statement is a voluntary commitment and not a declaration of conformity under § 7 BFSG (Section 7 of the German Accessibility Strengthening Act).

    Conformance status

    This website partially conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Known limitations:

    • Decorative animations and carousels respect “reduce motion”, but a pause button is not yet available.
    • The primary red #FF1B45 does not achieve 4,5:1 on white for small body text. It is used only for headings, icons and non-text UI elements.
    • Generated PDFs are not currently fully tagged.
    • Some case study and brand videos lack synchronised subtitles.
    • The price calculator and express planner use complex interaction patterns; keyboard and screen reader navigation is being improved.

    Measures already implemented

    • Semantic HTML structure with landmarks and a logical heading hierarchy.
    • A “Skip to main content” link.
    • Visible focus indicators.
    • Support for prefers-reduced-motion.
    • Alt text and aria-labels for icon-only buttons.
    • Form fields with labels and error messages.

    Assessment method

    Internal self-assessment based on WCAG 2.1 AA and EN 301 549: manual keyboard and screen reader testing, automated testing with Lighthouse and axe-core, and contrast and structure reviews.
